Benefit Haul

I never really splurged on makeup that often mainly because I never had the financial means to and I cared about clothes more than I cared about beauty products, so I've always gone with the cheap stuff from Boots. However, I was in the cosmetic department in Harvey Nicks and I thought since I had my loan just come through I could justify splashing out on some nice foundation. Anyways, before I knew it was sitting in a chair and having the Benefit Sales Advisor trying an array of products out on me, which meant that I end spending a hell of a lot more than i planned, oops! By the way, I am by no means a beauty expert, all the information is basically what the Benefit Lady told me in Harvey Nicks.

Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Make-up , £25.50: This is a gorgeous cream foundation that is unbelievably light and makes your skin feel ridiculously soft. It contains SPF 25, which I believe is the highest SPF that Benefit do. From the couple of times I've used it, I found that it stays on really well and makes my pasty face look a lot more radiant.

Fakeup Hydrating Concealer, £18.50: I have always been a big fan of Benefit Concealer, I previously used the Erase Paste and found that it covered up really well and lasted so long. Fakeup Concealer is a brand new product that completely blows Erase Paste out of the water. The main selling point for me is the fact that it contains a hydrating balm around the actual concealer, which is great if you are blessed with incredibly dry skin. Again, like Erase Paste, it covers up beautifully and stays on basically all day.

Total Moisture Facial Cream, £27.50: Luckily, I didn't pay £27.50 as I got a free sample (if you buy it, it comes in a bigger tub). Again, this is great for those of you who have dry skin like myself. It contains Mango Butter so it makes your skin feel soft and it smells uh-mazing.

All of the above products are available on benefit cosmetics.co.uk or in your local Boots, Debenhams and Harvey Nichols Stores.
